Dr. Adrien Bouchet is the Warren Clinic Endowed Professor at The University of Tulsa’s Collins College of Business. Before this appointment, he spent four years on the faculty at Texas A & M University.
Outside of teaching, Dr. Bouchet researches management and marketing issues in the context of sport settings. His publications include twenty academic articles in leading sport management journals including Journal of Service Marketing, OMEGA: International Journal of Management Science, Journal of Sport Management, and Sport Management Review. In addition, Dr. Bouchet has presented his research at the American Marketing Association and has been awarded Knight Foundation and Janet Park/NASSM grants.
Before academe, Adrien spent twelve years in the sport and entertainment industry. During that time he served as Associate General Manager, Hurricane Sports Properties, the corporate sponsorship division of the University of Miami athletic department. His responsibilities included managing all corporate relations for the athletic department and overseeing sponsorship sales for the Orange Bowl, Ryder Center and Mark Light stadium. Prior to this, he served as Senior Manager, Marketing Partnerships for both the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins and Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins. Clients included Coke, Toyota, Cleveland Clinic, Comcast, and Anheuser-Busch. He also worked for Clear Channel Entertainment as Senior Director, Consulting in their Team, League, and Venue Services division. In this capacity, he oversaw or was involved in consulting assignments at the University of Miami, University of Connecticut, Western Kentucky University, Arena Football League and various outdoor music venues.
He was educated at Texas A&M University (PhD), Arizona State University, Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, and Auburn University.

MKT 311 - Sports Business
Focuses attention on components ranging from professional sports to collegiate sports, as well as sports-related products.
MKT 441 - Sports Revenue Generation
Focuses on selling and how to create, maintain and build relationships within the sports context. Students gain knowledge and develop skills in choosing a sales career including attributes of a sales person, sales call preparation, value propositions, creating value for the client, team selling, questioning and listening techniques, negotiating, persuasion and closing techniques.
