Adelphine Kogut was raised in Little Rock, AR, where she attended private schools through the 12th grade. Upon graduation, she was accepted into the University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors and Master in Professional Accounting in the Assurance/Financial Reporting track. In the summer of 2006, she spent a semester at the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy, studying: “Money and Capital Markets” and “Italy and the Process of European Integration”. Upon graduation, she received her CPA licensure, passing all four parts of the CPA the first time taken, scoring above average in all sections, with scores ranging from 86-93. Using her licensure, Adelphine spent 5 years working in private sector finance and accounting, with a focus in accounting of mutual funds and auditing of technology and healthcare companies. Adelphine is currently a doctoral student in the School of Accountancy at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, with an expected graduation date of May 2018. Her research interests include financial accounting with a focus in capital markets and international reporting standards.
